Born on June 11, 1998, in Cleveland, Ohio, Sharita "Ashley The Writer" Stewart is an American singer and songwriter whose words and melodies reverberate with authentic emotion. Now based in Atlanta, GA, Ashley's talent extends beyond her music, writing tracks such as Beau Joli's single “Dance With Me”, in addition to her own evocative single, "F**k You & Your Feelings" featuring labelmate KeMoNi.

From an early age, Ashley's mother recognized her natural gift for music. Ashley's passion was nurtured in the church, where she participated in the choir and dance team. Her love for the arts grew during high school, where she immersed herself in drama and musical theatre, striving to become a "triple threat."

Ashley's journey took a decisive turn after high school. Trading the stage for the solitude of pen and paper, Ashley began transmuting her thoughts into song lyrics. Her first visit to a recording studio in 2018 saw the birth of her 2019 single “Deep Confessions,” and with it, the blossoming of "Ashley The Writer."

Today, Ashley has made her mark as a talented songwriter, penning tracks for artists like Beau Joli, while also maintaining her artist persona. She has made a name for herself in Atlanta's vibrant music scene, continuing her journey as a writer and performer.
